Founded in 2022 by AI pioneers and proposal experts from the Defense and Intelligence community, Rohirrim saw what others missed: you can’t fix acquisition by only solving half the problem.

Steven Aberle
CEO
Steve is an AI researcher and entrepreneur with expertise in LLMs, transformers and Generative AI. As the founder and developer, he invented and patented the first domain-aware generative AI solution for enterprises. He is an expert in unstructured data, working with some of the largest collections of documents in the world at Los Alamos National Laboratories. Throughout his career Steven worked on complex technical architectures for commercial, aerospace, defense and intelligence organizations.
Tim Meyers
COO
Tim’s experience as a venture capitalist, investor, advisor and operator in dozens of enterprise software companies provides him the experience to help lead the company’s business development and strategic growth. His past experience also includes leading more than 150 transactions that have helped companies accelerate growth that led to profitable exits for investors. He was a founder of Updata Partners, an enterprise software VC and most recently he helped lead Embody, Inc.’s growth and successful exit Zimmer Biomet (ZBH).
Andrew Shoaff

Andrew’s two decades of experience as a customer success executive with multiple SaaS companies, where he helped lead customer success and delivered significant improvements in revenue retention and expansion. Andrew’s expertise provides Rohirrim with the skills needed to provide customers with top-tier support and training.
Christian Meyer
CFO
Christian is a high-growth software startup operator and investor with experience scaling companies from both sides of the table. He led Rohirrim’s Series A capital raise and has, in total, led +$100 million in capital raises from top-tier VC firms. Christian’s ability to plan for and execute org-wide scaling is a huge asset to Rohirrim. Most recently, Christian worked as an investor for Vocap Partners, an Atlanta-based venture capital firm leading Series A software rounds. Prior to Vocap, he worked for fintech startup Nymbus.
Jaclyn Jussif
VP of People
Jaclyn is an experienced People leader with a track record of building high-performing teams and aligning talent strategy with business goals. With an MS in Organizational Leadership and experience at industry-leading organizations like MathWorks, edX/MIT, and EnterpriseDB, she has navigated People challenges across startups and established companies alike. With experience leading company wide initiatives in performance management and engagement, she works closely with the Rohirrim team to foster a positive and productive culture.
Dave O’Hara

Dave joined Rohirrim’s Board of Directors in 2024, bringing extensive experience in finance, go-to-market strategies, M&A, and operations. As the Chief Financial Officer of Microsoft Commercial Business, he played key roles in advancing cloud computing, enterprise solutions, and technology strategy. Dave has been instrumental in guiding digital transformations and expanding cloud offerings. With a strong financial and strategic background, he has consistently driven innovative solutions at Microsoft. Dave holds a pivotal role in shaping the company’s financial strategy, ensuring robust growth and profitability.
Matt Koran
Board of Directors
Matt joined Rohirrim’s Board of Directors in 2023, bringing a wealth of experience in high-growth software investments. Since joining Insight in 2016, where he currently serves as a Principal on the investment team, Matt has focused on areas like DevOps, big data, IT automation, and cybersecurity. A Harvard University alumnus with an AB in Economics, Matt was a linebacker for the football team and served as its 142nd captain. He also directed Crimson in the Community, an initiative that organized blood drives, mentorship programs, bone marrow drives, and sports clinics for children with special needs. Matt resides in Denver, CO.

LTG (RET) Dave Bassett is a Senior Counselor at the Cohen Group and serves on multiple corporate boards. He retired in 2024 after 35+ years in the Army, including as Director of DCMA overseeing $3.5T in contracts. He now advises defense and tech firms on acquisition strategy, operations, and growth.
Gen (RET) Rich Clarke

Rich Clarke was the 12th Commander of USSOCOM, from 2019-2022, and directed some of the most sensitive and critical global deployments for the US, reporting directly to the Secretary of Defense. He is well versed in cyber, risk management and serves on the Board of Directors at General Dynamics and MITRE.
